Conway Falcons Youth Football and Cheerleading ended the 2015 season with their annual Awards Ceremony on December 13th at Boone High School. All football and cheer athletes were recognized and special awards were given in each age group – 6U Flag, 8U Mighty Mite, 10U Pee Wee, 12U Junior Varsity and 14U Varsity.

The football program capped off a strong year with both the Pee Wee and Junior Varsity teams representing the Falcons in the Florida Youth Football and Cheer League (FYFCL) Playoffs. The Junior Varsity team won the FYFCL South Division Championship and participated in the AAU National Championship Tournament from December 10 – 12th. They made it to the Quarter Finals where they lost to the team who would go on to win the championship.

The Falcons Cheer Program had a phenomenal year. In addition to cheering at all regular season football games, the cheer squads participated in three competitions. At the Florida Spirit Bash Cheer Competition on October 25 in Tampa, Junior Varsity placed 1st, Flag, Mighty Mite and Pee Wee all placed 2nd and Varsity placed 3rd. The AAU Regional Cheer Competition was held on November 15th in Orlando with the Junior Varsity squad winning 1st Place & Grand Champions, Pee Wee winning 1st Place, and Flag, Mighty Mite and Varsity winning 2nd Place. The competition season ended at the Showcase of Champions Cheer Competition in Winter Haven on December 5th. Junior Varsity won 1st Place, Grand Champions and the Highest Points Award. Flag and Mighty Mite won 1st Place. Pee Wee and Varsity won 2nd Place. In the Solo, Duo & Trio Division the Falcons Flag Duo, Mighty Mite Duo and Pee Wee Solo all won 1st Place. The Junior Varsity Trio won 1st Place and Grand Champion for Solo, Duo & Trio.

The Conway Falcons Football and Cheer Program is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization, that focuses on the development of football and cheerleading techniques for children ages K – 9th grade. We are part of the Florida Youth Football and Cheer League and proud members of AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) and USA Heads Up Football.
